2. Using the website
Access to the website is free and does not require registration. When using it, you agree to:
- use it only for lawful purposes and in line with these terms;
- not try to access restricted areas or compromise the security or operation of the website;
- give accurate information when you fill in the quote request form.
We may restrict access to the website, without notice, for anyone who misuses it.
3. Catalogue and data sheets
The equipment catalogue (lighting, grip and camera) is for information only and shows the gear Show Reel has available for hire. It does not show prices or availability, which are always confirmed in the quote.
Images are for illustration and may not match the exact unit you hire. The PDF data sheets reproduce the manufacturers’ specifications. We work to keep all information accurate and up to date, but errors or changes may occur without notice.
4. Quote and rental requests
Sending a request through the form, by phone or by email is not a booking and does not bind either party. Show Reel will reply with a proposal, and the rental is only confirmed once that proposal has been accepted.
The hire of equipment, studios, production rooms, vehicles and generators is governed by the accepted proposal and by the rental conditions provided to the customer, which set out, among other things, rental periods, hours, transport, insurance, deposits and responsibility for the equipment. If there is any conflict, those conditions prevail over these terms.
5. Intellectual property
The text, photographs, videos, logos and design of this website belong to Show Reel or are used with the permission of their owners, and are protected by copyright. They may not be copied, reproduced or used without written permission.
The posters and images of films, series and commercials in the credits section belong to their respective producers and are shown only as a reference to the work Show Reel has taken part in. Equipment brands and names belong to their respective manufacturers.
6. Links to other websites
The website contains links to third party services such as Instagram, Google Maps and manufacturers’ websites. Show Reel has no control over these services and is not responsible for their content or policies.
7. Liability
We do our best to keep the website available and free of errors, but we cannot guarantee that it will work without interruption. Show Reel is not liable for any damage arising from the use of the website or from being unable to use it, except where the law does not allow such liability to be excluded.
8. Personal data
How we handle the data you send us, including through the quote request form, is explained in our Privacy Policy.
9. Governing law and changes
These terms are governed by Portuguese law. The courts of the district of Lisbon have jurisdiction over any dispute, without prejudice to the mandatory rules that protect consumers. If the Portuguese and English versions differ, the Portuguese version prevails.
We may change these terms at any time. The version in force is always the one published on this page, with the date of the latest update shown at the top.
